Maneuvers

Definition: Are maneuvers , changes that we made with our vehicle, within the circulation by altering normal traffic circumstances (representing a risk) .

Basic maneuvers : Those who normally use and with intent to (voluntarily ).

Traffic Transposition : the act of participating in the movement.

Lateral displacement : Changing position on the road.

Advancement: Exceeding vehicles slower than ours.

Change of address : Leave to take a different route .

Change of direction: turn around in the same way.

Stop: Immobilization voluntary.

Parking : Immobilization voluntary.

Other moves :

Detention: Detention involuntary.

Reverse : Further maneuver stop, park or incorporation .

Overrun : Exceeding immobilized vehicles or objects .

Incorporation :

* A vehicle, joining the satellite performs only from these four positions :

Standing or parked.

From an access road ( acceleration lane ).

From an adjoining property ( driveway, garage ..., etc.). .

From an area or service area ( service station, roadside bar ... etc . ).

* The vehicle features , is required yield to running on the main road. This does not mean that vehicles running on the main road facilitate as far as possible that incorporation, taking into account that if the vehicle incorporates a bus, it does so from a stop duly marked, in town , you will provide the maneuver, even coming to stop our vehicle.

Lateral displacement :

* Only the change of position on the road, involving total or partial invasion another lane.

Example: A cyclist , to get around a puddle in your lane , you had to change its position ( trajectory correction ) , without invading the adjacent lane , would not be doing lateral displacement .

Advancement:

* Overtaking is to overtake a vehicle in front of us to lower speed.

* In general, the advancement must be performed by the left, but there are three cases in which this can or should do on the right :

Bringing forward the right, on any road , vehicles wishing to turn left .

Be brought forward by the right, trams , in two-way roads , running on the center , separating both directions.

You can overtake on the right, inside the town , when we have our sense multiple lanes , vehicles running on our left.

No overtaking is considered :

Overtake vehicles stopped on the road ( overrun ).

When there is traffic congestion ( traffic jam ), the fact that a line of vehicles advance more quickly than those who do so for the next lane does not represent advancement.

Nor is the fact considers overtaking overtake vehicles on a lane assistant, input / output ( acceleration or deceleration) or the other exclusively for the use of certain vehicles ( bus lanes , cycles , taxis) , or vice versa ... .

Not considered overtaking those produced between cyclists at the group.

Obligation that anticipates :

Check that the maneuver can be accomplished without risk .

Signal our intention to overtake.

Maintain, while forward, lateral separation proportional to the speed , width and characteristics of the track. When forward out of town pedestrians , animals, animal-drawn vehicles or two-wheeled vehicles , allow a minimum separation of 1.5 m. When a two-wheeled vehicle ahead, out of townTo any road user (pedestrian , animal or vehicle) , must maintain the same spacing of 1.5 m. respect of the advance.

back to our lane in stages in the shortest time possible.

Obligation of the advance:

Not speed .

Staying on the right edge.

Avoid maneuvers that might prevent overtaking.

Overtaking prohibited ...:

In areas of reduced visibility except that the meanings of the movement are clearly marked and is not necessary to invade the opposite direction.

At pedestrian crossings, level crossings and its vicinity except two-wheeled vehicles or pedestrian crossings , to any vehicle, If and when a very low speed .

At intersections, except those in which we marked the priority , gazebos, two-wheeled vehicles or vehicles on the right to turn left.

In tunnels and underpasses when only one lane available for our sense.

For vehicles that are ahead (double overtaking) , if so we need to invade a lane opposite.

Special cases of advancement :

* It can exceed, in sections where overtaking is prohibited to vehicles stopped (whose detention is not due to traffic conditions ) , cycles , mopeds , pedestrians , animals and animal-drawn vehicles .

Change of address:

* Change direction is to abandon the path along which (right or left) , to take another.

* The position of a vehicle on the road, to turn right should be as close as possible to the right edge.

* The turn to the left where there is no sufficient visibilityStrictly prohibited .

* The position of a vehicle on the road, to turn left should be:

If the road is one-way, All as close as possible to the left edge.

If the track is still the same double meaning definedAs close as possible to the line that separates those directions of traffic (except cycles and mopeds , which will make from the right edge ).

If the road is two-way lack of marks that delimitAs close as possible to the imaginary line that separates (except for cycles and mopeds , which will make from the right edge .)

If the road is two-way and has dedicated lanes for turningEveryone from the rail ( including cycles and motorcycles) .

* If while waiting for our lane , to make the left turn , blocking the way to vehicles that follow us , we will remain in this position until we can perform the maneuver .

Change of direction:

* Changing the direction it is turning back on the road along which .

* The right place to change the meaning , is the place in which the road intersects the shortest time possible.

* If while waiting for our lane , to make the change of direction , obstruct the path of vehicles behind us, we leave the driveway, on the right side , until conditions allow us to do .

Prohibited to change the meaning ...:

In areas of reduced visibility.

At level crossings , underpasses , tunnels and sections affected by the signal " tunnel. "

On highways and expressways.

In sections where overtaking is prohibited , unless the change of direction is previously authorized.

Reverse gear :

* As a general rule , the reverse is prohibited. this maneuver is permitted only in two situations:

When we are in a dead end ( in this case we can move backwards, the distance we need to go, even encroaching on a cross ).

When additional (the need ) of the standing , parking or incorporation ( these cases we should not reversing over 15 m., or invade a cross ).

* reversing the maneuver should be performed with caution , stopping the vehicle when they feel the touch of a horn or alarm.

Dentención :

* Detention is the detention of a vehicle : emergency (Fault, dizziness, insect entry ..., etc . ) traffic circumstances ( traffic jam, accident ... etc. . ) or play a regulatory provision ( a stop sign , Agent, red light ..., etc.).

Stop:

* Stop is the detention of a vehicle, time less than two minutes without leave (We can get off of it, but without losing sight ).

Parking:

* Parking is the detention of a vehicle that is not in a position to stop or arrest. (Everything other than stop or detention is parking).

Common rules for stopping and parking :

* Out of town (except on motorways and highways is prohibited), only allowed to stop or park , pulling the vehicle off the road (always on the right side ) and paving the practicable ( walkable ) to the edge , ie . .., on the field! .

* In town :

Ongoing two-way traffic: On the side right road .

In one-way streets : on the side right or left road .

* When stopping or parking , leaving the vehicle, we have an obligation to turn off the engine, operate the parking brake, leave the 1st speed uphill , reverse in descending slopes , and if we leave the vehicle, close the door (staying inside the vehicle, none of these obligations shall be applicable.)

* Vehicles over 3,500 kg. MMA , buses and vehicle sets , to stop or park on sloping sections , they must use wedges or, if you do not carry , guide wheels toward the curb so that this contact, preventing the sliding of the same .

stopping is prohibited in the following cases :

In turns and elevation changes of reduced visibility in the vicinity and in tunnels.

At level crossings , passages and steps for cyclists and pedestrians.

In lanes or parts of the road reserved exclusively for certain service or service users.

At intersections and near the turn is difficult if other vehicles.

On the rails for trams or near where it can hinder their movement.

In places where visibility is prevented signaling or be forced to turn back to other users.

On motorways, except in designated areas .

In the lanes for the exclusive use of public transport , or those reserved for the cycles.

In estacionameinto or areas designated for urban public transport network .

In areas marked for exclusive use by people with reduced mmovilidadd .

parking is prohibited in the following cases :

stopping where prohibited .

In urban areas with limited time parking without putting the badge that authorizes it .

In areas marked for loading and unloading .

On sidewalks, walkways and other areas reserved for pedestrian use .

In front of the fords .

Dual row.
